破狱: Shattered Rites

破狱: Shattered Rites is a psychological survival horror game focusing on Nathaniel Cheng, a university professor with dark secrets, as he attempts to complete a ritual to recover his lost daughter.

Nathan, along with 6 other deeply distraught parties, have found their way into a ritual. Nathan wishes to recover his missing daughter, and to do so, he meets the six other desperate souls struggling to complete their part of the ritual in order to obtain the one "wish". But since only one person can obtain this wish, Nathan must either convince them to give up their portion of the ritual. . . or kill them. Players will traverse through environments influenced by the guilt these characters hold close to them, fight demonic beings known as "imprints", and complete puzzles while experiencing the harrowing narrative of 破狱: Shattered Rites.

破狱: Shattered Rites is a horror game, with an emphasis on psychological subtexts. The game is meant to be scary, but psychological in nature. The story has the player making incredibly difficult choices, which really make the player question if what they're doing is the right thing.
